TFM Consultants International proudly offers our Refrigeration Plant Operation and Maintenance Course right here in Langley, BC; helping those interested in that field to acquire the skills and training needed to move into this exciting career option.
As a hands-on program, our Refrigeration Plant Operator Course not only delivers the principals and book-knowledge of typical refrigeration systems and heat pumps, but also the stages and cycles one could encounter in a variety of industry types, preparing you for all the variable situations you may face.
Our TFM Refrigeration Plant Operator Course Includes:
- Introduction to Refrigeration

- The Evaporator and Condenser
- Metering Devices
- System Control Devices
- Introduction to Heat Pump Systems
- Refrigeration Faults
- Troubleshooting Techniques
Once you have completed our training, it will offer you the knowledge necessary to write the Technical Safety BC Examination and receive the Refrigeration Plant Operator’s Certificate – giving you access to many career opportunities within the Lower Mainland and across Canada.
In addition, we offer Temporary Labour positions for our students who come out of the program, via industries interested in hiring a temporary employee to either try out, or fill-in spots as needed. This gives our students an excellent opportunity to sample a variety of companies – and see which one works best for them.

Instructors will include Mike Garcia and Lou Roussinos, who will be in charge of delivering this course to a small group of individuals seeking to further their career.
With only 15 students accepted, it keeps the training as individualized and hands-on as possible, ensuring each student is well prepared.
