My time at TFM was simply incredible. Mike’s passion for teaching is made clear on day one and his teaching style is clear and he makes it very easy to understand and follow along. Was 100% confident going into my 5th class provincial exam and looking forward to doing my 4th class with Mike again at TFM.
If you want to be an efficient and safe operator, take this course! You will not regret it.

Mike is an amazing instructor who consistently emphasizes safety in everything he teaches. His dedication to ensuring a safe learning environment really stands out. Beyond that, he is a great coach and mentor—supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping others improve and succeed.

Mike is an excellent instructor with a great depth of knowledge and experience. He explains very difficult topics in such a simple and clear way that they become easy to understand. His teaching style leaves very little room for doubt and makes the learning experience very positive.

I also found it very helpful that he showed real-life controls and devices, which made the topics much easier to understand in a practical way. Another great part of his teaching is that he gives daily quizzes to make sure we understood what was taught the previous day, and weekly tests at the end of the week to review everything covered.

Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I would highly recommend him.

In the 4 weeks spent in 4th Class Part B, Mike was very professional in both preparing us for the Interprovincial examination as well as preparing us for life as a 4th Class PE. Good job TFM

I really enjoyed being a student for TFM and studying alongside wonderfull students there. I will continue studying with TFM in the future since we had an amazing teacher, and the CEO Mike Garcia. I learned alot from him in a short period of time and I could see why he is the best since he really loves what he is doing. A great sense of humor and hardworking is two of the many characteristics which Mike have. I don't want to forget about Crystal Araujo for working alongside with Mike in the office. Overall, I had a great experience and thank you for putting a hard work teaching us.

I just finished a Great course taught by Mr. Mike Garcia. The material itself was super clear, but he really made it awesome by sharing funny stories and keeping us laughing and engaged. I was so intimidated by all the thick books that I got from Crystal. My first reaction was “oh no”
Would I be able to do this? However, on my first day the moment that Mike Garcia started teaching us I knew I could do this. I can’t thank you enough Mike. Coming from someone with no knowledge of the industry I felt at ease. TFM’s program is simple and gets down to what is important. Being taught by someone with so much experience in the industry is such an asset. You’re a great teacher Mike! You made things easy to understand and no homework is awesome!

I completed my 5th Class Power Engineer - Boiler Operator certificate in March and I could not be more satisfied with the experience. The course was well-structured, informative and delivered in a way that made complex material easy to understand.

Mike was knowledgeable and clearly an expert in the field. All information and learning materials were up-to-date and relevant to current industry standards. I felt supported throughout the entire learning process as Mike's commitment to quality education and student success was made clear.

Thanks to TFM, I now feel confident in my knowledge and well-prepared for my future in the field. I want to gatekeep TFM and the career path of power engineering but I cannot help but to highly recommend TFM to anyone pursuing a career in power engineering.

I recently took the Power Engineering class 4 Part A course at TFM, which is typically a year-long program, but they managed to condense it into just one month. I was honestly blown away by how well it was done! The instructors were incredibly proficient, making complex topics not only understandable but also interesting. They clearly have a passion for teaching and it shows in their approach.

What I loved most was the balance between depth and pace – it felt like I was getting all the essential knowledge without feeling overwhelmed. I did my RSA And RO here and I can’t recommend TFM enough! From the beginning to the end of the course all, I can say is perfection. They make studying easy and fun!

I finished a Six year bachelor degree at the University but out of all the teachers that taught me, I can confidently say Mike is one of the best teachers I have ever had! He is funny but professional, passionate to his craft, well experienced as a power engineer and the best part is I didn’t really feel super stressed! After Friday I can just go with my life and ready to start again looking forward on Monday!

Because of Mike’s superb teaching, I am confident that I will pass my Provincial Exam and will never be a Pencil Whipper in the industry!

Glad I had this opportunity to join the TFM consultants international for 5th class power engineering, at first I was nervous didn't think I was going to pass the course, my confidence was down. I would recommend TFM learning school for people who want to take the power engineering course quickly and efficiently. With knowledge and direct work experience from the instructor, Mike, it would be very supportive and helpful to understand how the boiler is operated correctly. I am really pleased to know this vocational school.
