Very informative and wonderful experience learning from Mike. 3 weeks went by fast, the daily test and weekly exam helped a lot with the course and final exams.

Mike is an excellent instructor with a great depth of knowledge and experience. He explains very difficult topics in such a simple and clear way that they become easy to understand. His teaching style leaves very little room for doubt and makes the learning experience very positive. I also found it very helpful that he showed real-life controls and devices, which made the topics much easier to understand in a practical way. Another great part of his teaching is that he gives daily quizzes to make sure we understood what was taught the previous day, and weekly tests at the end of the week to review everything covered. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I would highly recommend him.

In the 4 weeks spent in 4th Class Part B, Mike was very professional in both preparing us for the Interprovincial examination as well as preparing us for life as a 4th Class PE. Good job TFM

I really enjoyed being a student for TFM and studying alongside wonderfull students there. I will continue studying with TFM in the future since we had an amazing teacher, and the CEO Mike Garcia. I learned alot from him in a short period of time and I could see why he is the best since he really loves what he is doing. A great sense of humor and hardworking is two of the many characteristics which Mike have. I don't want to forget about Crystal Araujo for working alongside with Mike in the office. Overall, I had a great experience and thank you for putting a hard work teaching us.

I was so intimidated by all the thick books that I got from Crystal. My first reaction was “oh no” Would I be able to do this? However, on my first day the moment that Mike Garcia started teaching us I knew I could do this. I can’t thank you enough Mike. Coming from someone with no knowledge of the industry I felt at ease. TFM’s program is simple and gets down to what is important. Being taught by someone with so much experience in the industry is such an asset. You’re a great teacher Mike! You made things easy to understand and no homework is awesome! Crystal in administration was great as well. I came in on a late notice and she made the necessary changes to make this happen. I completed my 5th Class Power Engineer - Boiler Operator certificate in March and I could not be more satisfied with the experience. The course was well-structured, informative and delivered in a way that made complex material easy to understand. Mike was knowledgeable and clearly an expert in the field. All information and learning materials were up-to-date and relevant to current industry standards. I felt supported throughout the entire learning process as Mike's commitment to quality education and student success was made clear. Thanks to TFM, I now feel confident in my knowledge and well-prepared for my future in the field. I want to gatekeep TFM and the career path of power engineering but I cannot help but to highly recommend TFM to anyone pursuing a career in power engineering.

I did my RSA And RO here and I can’t recommend TFM enough! From the beginning to the end of the course all, I can say is perfection. They make studying easy and fun! I finished a Six year bachelor degree at the University but out of all the teachers that taught me, I can confidently say Mike is one of the best teachers I have ever had! He is funny but professional, passionate to his craft, well experienced as a power engineer and the best part is I didn’t really feel super stressed! After Friday I can just go with my life and ready to start again looking forward on Monday! Because of Mike’s superb teaching, I am confident that I will pass my Provincial Exam and will never be a Pencil Whipper in the industry! Good Job TFM! Thanks Mike! Glad I had this opportunity to join the TFM consultants international for 5th class power engineering, at first I was nervous didn't think I was going to pass the course, my confidence was down. I would recommend TFM learning school for people who want to take the power engineering course quickly and efficiently. The instruction was top notch. Very informative and at times entertaining. Class material was backed up with practical explanations and real world examples. Material was very specific but taught in a way to see how it applies in the bigger picture. I felt fully prepared for my provincial exam after completing the course.

Mike Garcia, A very well thought out course with real life examples and is very equipped with almost every single valve and boiler parts for a more in depth examples. Very passionate to make sure that his students are not pencil whippers but actually great boiler operators, TFM offers online and in class I would say better to go in class to learn more and have more opportunities to ask more questions. I very much enjoyed the course my 5th class course. Highly recommended and would go again for the 4th class . Our company has sent multiple people for TFM training and even people who don’t speak English as their first language have achieved a passing certification for the provincial exam “Technical Safety B.C” exam.

Having zero experience in Refrigeration the RPO course was taught expertly. Came away with a great understanding and had a manageable workload for a 3 week program.

Mike and Aaron are great teachers who taught the curriculum in an easy/fluent way! I highly recommend this school!

Mike is a very professional instructor. He has vast knowledge in the field and many work experiences. In class, he not only teaches you theory but he also shares pictures and videos of the deficiencies he finds at the plants he visited. These are all very valuable material which the text book does not show. It helps us be aware and pay more attention to details when we come to work. Aaron is a very friendly and helpful instructor too. He spent extra time teaching to ensure we all understand and are on the same page before he moves on to the next subject. I am grateful to have them both as instructors. I learned a lot from them. There are no word can describe how much I appreciate their professionalism teaching the class. All I can say is thank you very much, and it is worth spending my time there.

I've now taken two courses through TFM. Each time they've helped feel thoroughly prepared for my certification exams. Everyone I've met on the staff is friendly and quickly helps with any questions I've had. I plan on returning for any future education I need.

I did my Power Engineer 5th class in March 2022 with instructors Mike & Aaron. Both were excellent, with clear explanations. Even with 2.5 months from the date the course finished until I could write my Provincial certification exam, I passed that exam as well on the first attempt. I don't know if I will do 4th class myself, but if I do I want to go back to TFM for that too. Thanks Mike & Aaron!

I want to say huge Thank you to Mike and TFM School for teaching me 4th Class Power Engineering Part B course this fall. These 4 weeks were so productive and I learned a lot of information and material which I will use in my future career. I have done Part A by myself online through BCIT and it took me almost a year, but with TFM it took me only a month with all the explanation and main topics in details. Mike was always professional, creative, positive and always asked us if we have any questions or concerns about anything. I would suggest this school to all my friends who will be interesting to take a Power Engineering course.

I had a great time attending this school for my 4th class power engineer certificate. Mike is a great teacher who does his best to help you out and make sure you understand the material thoroughly. They even have a power lab you can attend to learn more about what you are learning in practical terms. I definitely recommend pre-reading before you attend the class. Aaron was very helpful when I attended the power lab and answered all my questions.

Mike is The best teacher out there in my opinion!! Did my RO with TFM, passed with flying marks! Doing my 4th class right now and I have no complaints! There's a reason I came back to TFM for 4th class, that's because Mike's way of teaching! Aaron is really good too! and rest of the staff is pretty easy to deal with aswell!! I attended my Class 5 power engineering at this school and I liked it so much I came back and did my Class 4 power engineering successfully both times. I am currently attending the firing time (work experience) and have found the staff at this school has a high standard of professionalism, are quite patient and knowledgeable and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into this industry. The courses are demanding and require your full attention and dedication throughout, all that's required from any student is dedication and attention. Thank you so much Mike, Aaron & Collin for your hard work and for sharing your knowledge, I thoroughly enjoy every minute I spend at the school. All the best to you guys.

My experience at TFM has been exceptional. The instructors are truly invested in students education and their growth. I was green to the industry and small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled me to gain confidence. They teach value lessons and have plenty of experience.
