Becoming a Power Engineer Specializing in Refrigeration and Boiler Equipment
As a Power Engineer, you will maintain, operate and manage both industrial and commercial plants that use boiler and refrigeration equipment. Only certified Power Engineers are permitted to operate such equipment across all Canadian provinces and territories, and our training not only gets you in plant doors, we also help you excel within this chosen career, providing you support and additional training such as ‘Boiler Work Experience’.
Understanding Our Refrigeration Plant Operator Program
The TFMCI Refrigeration Plant Operator Program provides the technical knowledge and skills needed by individuals wanting to enter into the field of power engineering, and also the hands-on experience to ensure they do well.
Upon successful completion of our Refrigeration Plant Operator Program, students are fully prepared to write the Technical Safety BC examination for an interprovincial Refrigeration Plant Operator Certificate, certifying them to apply Canada-wide for such a position.
