This is a 2-day seminar designed to assist those who do not necessarily require certification in their jurisdiction and want to learn more about the daily basics of operating and maintaining a small boiler plant. The course concentrates in the basics of boiler designs, safe boiler operation and an overall look at boiler systems, piping, pumps, safety devices and record keeping.

This is an excellent course taught by experts in the boiler operations field. It will provide you with confidence to deal with some the important and daily events in safe boiler operation. You will discover the fundamentals of boiler systems, heat transfer and boiler efficiency. You will be able to identify the several types of boilers such as firetube, watertube, sectional, coil, electric, condensing and demand. We will discuss the boiler auxiliary components, piping systems, expansion tanks, vents, safety valves, feedwater systems, fuel systems and have a very clear understanding of safe start-up and shut-down procedures.

This 2-day seminar is designed to teach building and facility maintenance personnel who have little or no experience at all to enable them to deal and resolve many issues that otherwise may require contracting outside service, and therefore they can now reduce their contracting out costs.
