As a 5th Class Power engineer, you will work to maintain, operate and manage both industrial and commercial plants that use boiler and refrigeration equipment.

This is a specialized career, as only certified Power Engineers are permitted to operate such equipment across all Canadian provinces and territories, making it a potential affluent career choice, especially if you are willing to travel to more remote locations.

Our training will help you achieve your goals in this booming industry, and provide you with the knowledge and skills that will allow you to write the interprovincial exams to become a Certified Power Engineer.

5th Class Power Engineering (Boiler) Course Environment

Our teaching environment consists of demonstrations, lectures, visual presentations and exercises that will allow you to better absorb what is being taught in our classroom setting, with an open environment to discuss the material.

5th Class Power Engineering (Boiler) Course Length

The TFM Consultants International’s 5th Class Power Engineering Program is an accredited 120-hour program through the Technical Safety BC, and is spread over the course of 3 weeks. Students will be required to complete some homework assignments and allow for additional studying outside of class, but overall the workload is manageable and intended for those entirely new to the industry.
