Overseeing both boiler and refrigeration equipment, you also understand that it is only certified individuals who are able to operate such equipment in Canada.

What Else Can a 4TH Class Power Engineer Do?

 As mentioned in a previous blog post and as described via www.technicalsafetybc.ca

The 4th class power engineer certificate of qualification allows you to be the:

  • Chief engineer of a plant with a corresponding or lower class
  • Shift engineer of a plant up to one class higher than the class of this certificate
  • Person in charge of any type or size of refrigeration plant

4TH CLASS(PART B) PROGRAM EXPLAINED

The 4th Class Power Engineer (Part B) Program provides the technical knowledge and skills needed by individuals wanting to enter into the field of power engineering. Upon successful completion of the program, students are prepared to write the Technical Safety BC examination for an interprovincial 4th Class (Part B). This is the Second of two exams towards the necessary certificates.

PROGRAM DETAILS  

The start date is November 15th and runs until December 10, 2021. Classes will be held each day, Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with availability through our Virtual Academy also.

The tuition fee is $3,395.95 and includes all textbooks, supplies and taxes.
