5th Class Power engineers maintain, operate and manage both industrial and commercial plants that use boiler and refrigeration equipment. Only certified Power Engineers are permitted to operate such equipment across all Canadian provinces and territories.

TFM Consultants International LTD offers courses and training that will help you achieve your goals in this booming industry. Our power engineering programs will provide you with the knowledge and skills that allow you to write the interprovincial exams to become a certified power engineer.

5th CLASS POWER ENGINEER PROGRAM

The TFMCI 5th class power engineer program provides the technical knowledge and skills needed by individuals wanting to enter into the field of power engineering. Upon successful completion of the program, students are prepared to write the Technical Safety BC examination for an interprovincial 5th Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.

THE PROGRAM

This program is taught in a “classroom style” environment. It consists of demonstrations, lectures, visual presentations and exercises that help to enhance the material covered in the course. This is all presented in an easy going manner with many open discussions as it is intended to teach persons with little or no experience.

COURSE DURATION

The TFM Consultants International’s 5th Class Power Engineering Program is an accredited 120 hour program through the Technical Safety BC, spread over the course of 3 weeks. Students will be required to complete some homework assignments and allow for additional studying outside of class.
